Financial Analysis That Actually Makes Sense

Most people think financial analysis is just spreadsheets and complicated formulas. And sure, there's some of that. But what really matters is understanding the story your numbers are telling you.

We're based in Ho Chi Minh City, teaching professionals across Vietnam how to read financial statements the way an experienced analyst does. Not just the mechanics, but the thinking behind it.

Our autumn 2025 program starts with real company data from Vietnamese markets. You'll work with actual financial reports, not textbook examples that feel disconnected from what's happening in Southeast Asian business right now.

What You'll Actually Learn

Financial analysis isn't rocket science, but it does require a specific way of thinking. We break it down into manageable pieces that build on each other naturally.

Reading Between Lines

Income statements tell you what happened. Cash flow statements tell you what really happened. Learning to spot the difference changes everything about how you evaluate a business.

Ratio Analysis Decoded

Ratios aren't magic formulas. They're questions you're asking about a company's health. We'll show you which questions matter most and when certain ratios become red flags.

Context Over Numbers

A company with 5% profit margin might be doing great or terrible depending on their industry. You'll learn how to benchmark properly and understand what good actually looks like in different sectors.

How the Program Unfolds

We've structured this over six months because that's how long it takes for the concepts to really sink in. Starting September 2025, here's what the journey looks like:

1

Financial Statement Fundamentals

First eight weeks focus on building your literacy with the three main financial statements. You'll learn to read them like newspapers rather than mathematical puzzles. We use real Vietnamese company reports so the context feels familiar.

2

Analytical Frameworks

Weeks nine through sixteen introduce the frameworks professional analysts use. DuPont analysis, working capital management, profitability decomposition. These sound complex but they're just systematic ways to ask better questions.

3

Industry Deep Dives

The final ten weeks are where it gets interesting. You'll apply everything to specific industries, understanding how banking analysis differs from manufacturing, or why retail companies need different metrics than tech startups.

4

Portfolio Project

Last month is your capstone work. Pick a public Vietnamese company and complete a full financial analysis. This becomes the centerpiece of your portfolio, showing potential employers you can do the actual work, not just talk about it.

Who's Teaching This

Our instructors have worked in financial analysis roles at companies operating in Vietnam. They've done this work professionally and can share the reality of it, not just the theory.

What This Prepares You For

Financial analysis skills open different paths. Some students move into investment roles, others into corporate finance departments. A few start consulting practices helping small businesses understand their own numbers better.

The Vietnam market has been growing demand for professionals who can analyze financial data properly. Not making guarantees about job placement, but this skillset does have practical applications across multiple industries right now.

  • Corporate finance positions analyzing investment opportunities
  • Credit analysis roles at banking institutions
  • Financial planning and analysis departments
  • Consulting work for businesses needing financial insight
  • Investment research supporting portfolio decisions

Program runs from September 2025 through February 2026. Classes meet twice weekly in our Quận 7 location, with some weekend workshops mixed in. Application deadline is July 15, 2025.
